FREJUS, FRENCH RIVIERA 

This small Roman medieval town links to the larger town of St Raphael.  Situated midway between Cannes & St Tropez, this ideal location enables you to visit the beautiful coastal area both East to Cannes, Nice, Monte Carlo and into Italy (approx. 1 hour on the Autoroute)

To the  West, nearby St Aygulf and on to St Maxime, St Tropez and beyond towards the Spanish border.

Frejus has a superb selection of restaurants, winding streets, the Roman ruins, weekly markets with a large one on Saturday mornings.  The Marina and Port Frejus is well worth a visit.  Good car parking facilities nearby and a 300 yards walk to the many excellent restaurants located near the boats. 

The Aquatica leisure centre provides a wonderful visit for old and young to enjoy the pleasures of water slides, etc.  Nearby a Go Kart centre for those wanting to experience racing, even if not to Formula One standard!

The wonderful Gorges de Verdon, with its spectacular views, is worth visiting and it is about 45 minutes drive from Frejus.

There are 2 large Supermarkets in Frejus, together with smaller ones and large selection of private bakeries providing an excellent selection of French cuisine.

Whilst sites have laundry facilities, there is a small launderette on the main road near the sites.   For a very modest cost, they will wash, dry and fold ready for your collection the same day.

Why bother going to go to Monte Carlo to break the bank?   There is a large Casino on the main road, facing the sea, in St Raphael.  The large superb underground car park is very reasonably priced, facing the Casino.

Frejus is a town that you will want to visit again and again and again.
